Brandon Torio
Electric Guitar
Brandon doesn't just play stellar guitar licks in the best ABBA tribute band in Texas -- he also makes music under the name Wave Station. And even though he once ate 34 slices of pizza in one sitting, he's an avid runner and climber around Austin.
Creighton Moench
Keys and Synth
If you want to learn about the history of disco, Creighton is your go-to guy. With a PhD in Ethnomusicology, Creighton is a wealth of music knowledge. You can hear Creighton tickling the ivories on ABBA classics like "Angeleyes" and "SOS," but it's the classic song "Dancing Queen" that really makes him want to boogie.
Heath Allyn
Bass
A multi-instrumentalist and something of a savant, Heath brings the bass groove to DiscoTex. He’s a veteran of stage and screen, and many notable cover bands in Austin including The Eggmen and Yacht Z. When he’s not working diligently to be sure we’re playing ABBA to our best ability, you can find Heath playing a dozen or so instruments and sharing his delightful parody song skills online.
Josh Kennedy
Drums and Tech
A self-proclaimed "musician at birth," Josh Kennedy has played in over 30 bands. His musical tastes are as varied as the instruments he plays, so don't be surprised if you see him step out from behind the kick drum to slap the bass. In addition to playing music, Josh is a certified meditation teacher and runs Eraser Studios.
Wendy Zavaleta
Vocals
Wendy is an avid theatre queen, and has even been the most famed Donna in productions of Mamma Mia. The Winner Takes It All, and Wendy Does It All! When not singing, dancing, and acting in theatre productions, she’s dazzling movie sets and producing around Austin.
Sierra Vernon
Female Vocals
The best ABBA cover band in Texas wouldn’t exist without Sierra! She has been a professional musician since 18, and she's done everything from musical theatre to marching band. She even released a solo EP titled "Midnight at a Coffee Table," which is available to stream on Spotify. When she's not belting out her favorite ABBA songs like "Under Attack" and "Lay All Your Love On Me," Sierra can be found booking future shows or swimming in Barton Springs.
